A personalised approach

QLC Consulting Managing Director Brent Ingram saw value in establishing a personalised approach when it comes to property maintenance.

With experience within the property maintenance sector and construction industry which has spanned over 46 years, Brent saw an opportunity to provide a unique product and share his expertise in this sector.

About Brent Ingram

From early beginnings at 15-years-old, Brent Ingram trained as an apprentice painter and decorator in Ashburton. By age 19 he was a tradesman with two apprentices under him and by age 22 a carpenter for Bradford Construction based in Christchurch. In 1991 Brent went out on his own building and painting.

In the early 90s he took up the position of a sales representative selling clay masonry building products and went on to form Brent Ingram Ltd, who were appointed the agent for Wide Bay Bricks importing a range of clay masonry bricks, blocks & pavers from Queensland, Australia. A distribution network was established including John Edmond / Carters and Trade Mitre 10 stores trading successfully until 2000.

Brent was subsequently appointed as Area Manager for an Australasian Corporate Company involved in commercial painting and industrial coatings in the property sector, which covered, hospitality, commercial, body corporates, retail, education, manufacturing, healthcare, government departments, entertainment & sports stadiums.
